About Us

Two Perspectives & A Shared Rhythm

You are the reason we do this work.

We care just as much about how you feel on your wedding day as how it looks in photos, which means helping you feel steady and genuinely yourselves, especially during your engagement session and the wedding day itself. Part of why we work for ourselves is so our values stay at the center of everything we do. That care shows up in how we plan with you, how we communicate, and how we show up for your wedding day — not just as photographers, but as people who genuinely want the day to feel its absolute best.

Hey, We’re Ned & Julia

We've both been meditating long enough to know that in almost any situation, the most important thing is where you put your attention. Ned has been making art his whole life—from photography to graphic design to fine art. Julia came up through contemplative practice and entrepreneurship and has a passion for storytelling built on presence and care.

That's what we bring to your wedding day — knowing when to guide you into a moment, and when to disappear so it can happen on its own.

Cold ocean dipper

Explorer of 40+ countries

Julia's start in photography was drones — she loves the perspective from above. Ned pulled her into a couples session to teach her the basics. Her real initiation, though, was being sent straight into the bridal suite on her first wedding day. She was instantly hooked on the sweet, quiet moments happening there — and now she co-leads and leads weddings of her own.

Julia lives for the intimate moments — the vows, a first look, an emotional speech, and will probably be tearing up behind the camera right along with everyone else. Her eye for genuine, unposed connection means nothing small gets missed — from quiet moments to the smallest details.

Ned fell in love with photography and filmmaking in his early 20s—drawn to storytelling through art. A decade later, that passion led him to direct and produce the documentary Mother Daughter, while he began documenting weddings in Colorado. Now, in the off-season, Ned teaches 'Mindful Photography' at his alma mater, Colby College.

Ned loves the energetic joy of the celebration all day — especially right after the 'I do's.' Couples portraits are a favorite too: he's all about capturing genuine emotion and helping you feel comfortable enough to be completely yourselves, so the photos end up full of real feeling. And yes, he's not above a few dad jokes to get there.
